So, to start my journey, I use YouTube. I have been combing through the videos on how to be a day trader and found a few people posting videos that really stick for me learning. I was first interested in trading options, as one of the videos I found went over how easy it is. I studied this for a few days and actually tried to paper trade it, but there are certain requirements for you to be able to even use options as a trading vehicle. I also was just not understanding the concept, and still dont.
I heard on one of the videos someone say, “you’ll want to learn as much as you can” and “this does not happen overnight”. Committing to being a day trader as a profession is not quick, and should not be. I also believe that I’ll need to understand many of the concepts in order to trade without making too many mistakes.
Below are some of the trades I did on my second day. I felt pretty good, but overall just wanted to learn how to enter and exit, so I didnt really focus on gaining money in my paper account.
