Riding the news

In most cases, this strategy is not recommended. You should usually try and stay away from the news or announcements. I think I need to watch more videos and training on this, as I tend to watch and trade on these events, even though its risky. They seem like the perfect opportunity to watch the “rubber band” stretch up or down, and then catch the wave back to the average. In some cases, not many, I have seen it stretch and stay, which can put you in a predicament. I think with proper stop losses, you can avoid these, but stop losses also kick you out of a trade since you can never tell what’s going to happen, especially in a time with such volatility.

Trading really is risk management, or something that you can control. I’m beginning to trust the price action less and less each time I trade. I can hopefully get to a point where 4 losses one after the other, no longer bothers me. Paper trading takes away the element of stress, so Im looking forward to risk managing with real money soon. Gotta find an edge. Maybe I already have one, or its just being built.
