If you have ever seen Mary Poppins, the original, there is a song I really like there called Feed The Birds. Its a sweet song. I bought this bird feeder a few months ago. Gives me a bit of peace to watch different birds come to snack on the seeds.
The first bird that found the feeder was a Thrasher. He was kinda big for the feeder but figured out a way to stay pretty stable while he pecked at the seeds. Ive seen a cardinal, a rose belly finch, several doves, a woodpecker, and every now an then the quail will show up and eat scraps from the tossing on the ground. The quail are way too big for the feeder for sure.
I ordered my second bag of seed the other day. The increase in birds pretty much finished off the first bag in a hurry. I’ve considered building or buying a bird house/feeder, just as an upgrade for more birds to use it at once.
